Mark and Julie have been married for 15 years.  They met while at Weatherford College.  Julie saw him from across campus and whistled him down (at least that's how Mark tells it).  They married in 1992 and moved to Arlington to attend the University of Texas at Arlington where Mark received his Bachelor's of Arts degree in History and Julie received her degree in English.  

They have two children, Major, who is 7, and Addi (Addi Girl to Mark), who is 3.  From dressing up like pirates and having sword fights to putting on the "fancy" clothes (not Connect attire) and having tea parties, Mark and Julie love playing with their kids. 

If you hang out with Mark very long, you will discover he is a very passionate person.  He is passionate about making the name of Jesus famous, his family, and Longhorn football (he named his son after a former Longhorn quarterback). He loves being part of Connect and seeing people's lives changed by the power and truth of Jesus.
